Description

Our San Francisco office is looking for an experienced Legal Word Processor who is responsible for providing word processing and/or document production services for attorneys.

Essential Functions Include:

  • Prioritize job requests and ensure appropriate and timely completion of job requests.
  • Excellent team communication skills
  • Assist in document production, proofreading, intake and workflow coordination functions, as needed
  • Must be proficient in equipment/technology/software and hardware necessary to perform job functions
  • Follow standard formatting to edit, proof, convert, create, transcribe or otherwise complete document production requests to attorney and client satisfaction
  • Knowledge of file and e-file with the California Federal and State courts and knowledge of supporting vendors (such as File & ServeXpress, One Legal, etc.) for filing documents
  • Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or work equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of word processing experience in a law firm
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Professional communication in writing and verbally
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner
  • Strong attention to detail; able to prioritize many projects at once
  • Team focused attitude
  • Typing speed of 65 WPM or higher
