eBilling Administrator
Location: Flexible and in any state where the firm has an office
Position Summary:
Hinshaw & Culbertson is currently hiring an eBilling Administrator to join the firm’s expanding Financial Operations Department. The eBilling Administrator is responsible for managing the day to day tasks that support the eBilling team. This includes working with accruals, analyzing appeal response, gathering expense back-up, budget submissions, all while maintaining detailed billing records and adhering to company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track received accrual deadlines and report the accruals in a timely manner to our clients via vendor site or email.
- Review appeal responses via BillBlast or on the vendor sites in order to record appeal responses and escalate appeal responses as needed.
- Assist ebillers with gathering expense back-up needed for successful invoice submission.
- Assist our team as well as Client Intake with the submission of budgets on client vendor sites.
- Review rate emails and learn the process of proposing rates to client vendor sites.
- Assist with organizing and adding information to OneNote on an ongoing basis.
- Play a key role in special projects that may arise.
Qualifications and Prior Experience:
- Professional oral and written communications skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all day-to-day activities.
- Demonstrated sense of initiative to proactively identify problems and take action to remediate.
- Willingness and ability to function as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and execute on a diverse range of tasks.
- Knowledge and understanding of general accounting policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic analysis and calculate key financial metrics.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred experience with service industry billing and collections software and document management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
