The New York office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a leading national law firm, seeks a Litigation Counsel with 3– 5 years of litigation experience, top quality writing skills and strong academic credentials. Knowledge of litigation practice and procedures in New York state and Federal courts is required, with specific experience defending individual and class action claims under the FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA and state consumer protection laws preferred. The candidate will also have a commitment to exceptional client service. The Firm offers a competitive benefits package.

Litigation Counsel role is a full-time salaried position. Litigation Counsel are expected to meet a 1800 annual billable hour requirement. They will be available to travel to client or team meetings as needed. This is not a partnership track position. To be considered, candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing with the New York Bar, Connecticut Bar additionally preferred.
