The Ft. Lauderdale office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a leading national law firm, seeks a Litigation Counsel with 4 - 6 years of litigation experience, top quality writing skills and strong academic credentials. The ideal candidate will have experience with general defense litigation, including product liability and tort defense, and knowledge of litigation practice and procedures in state courts is required. The candidate must also have the ability to draft complicated opinions, motions, and legal memoranda in a clear and concise manner, and will also have a commitment to exceptional client service. The Litigation Counsel role is a full-time salaried position and expected to meet a 1800 annual billable hour requirement. Some travel to client or team meetings as needed. This is not a partnership track position. Please note the Litigation Counsel role is not permitted to transfer to partnership track after hire. FL Bar required.
