Attorney Recruiting Manager

Hinshaw & Culbertson, a leading national law firm, is seeking a Attorney Recruiting Manager to join its Miami/Coral Gables or Ft. Lauderdale office, with hybrid work arrangements available.  While this position will be based in Florida, it will support lateral recruiting across the firm’s offices.  

Position Summary:
The Attorney Recruiting Manager will partner with the Director of Attorney Recruiting & Development to develop hiring strategies and manage lateral attorney searches across the firm’s offices in support of the firm’s strategic hiring goals.  

Essential Functions Include: 
• Support all phases of lateral associate hiring process, including creating job postings, reviewing candidate materials and sharing internally with the appropriate partners, scheduling interviews, securing necessary internal approvals for extension of offers, and acting as a point person for candidates throughout the process from application to offer acceptance
• Liaise with Practice Group Leaders, Partners-in-Charge, and other stakeholders to understand the hiring needs and criteria of the firm.
• Source candidates through various methods, including through job postings and direct outreach
• Manage and track lateral recruiting statistics and data, and provide regular reports on the pipeline, activity, and trends
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s brand, strategy, and various markets; assist with development of recruitment materials
• Work collaboratively with other departments, including Marketing, DEI, and Office Administrators, as well as within the HR department

Qualifications and Prior Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in recruiting at a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and respond to shifting priorities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues and attorneys at all levels
