The firm is seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to join our growing Marketing & Business Development team. This entry-level role plays a key operational support function, helping to coordinate marketing and business development activities, manage intake workflows, and support the execution of firm events and sponsorships.

The Coordinator will serve as a central point of coordination for inbound requests and marketing activity, while also supporting logistics for events, promotional items, and sponsorships. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys organizing processes, and takes pride in supporting high-quality execution behind the scenes.

Candidate may work fully remote and must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, DC, FL, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MN, MS, MO, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TX, VA or WI.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Activity & Traffic Coordination

  • Monitor and manage inbound marketing requests, including oversight of shared inboxes and internal intake channels.
  • Track, triage, and route requests to appropriate team members, ensuring timely response and execution.
  • Maintain visibility into marketing and business development activity to support prioritization and workflow management.
  • Assist in maintaining tracking tools and systems used to manage marketing requests and project intake.

Event & Sponsorship Logistics Support

  • Provide logistical support for internal and client-facing events, including coordination of venues, catering, materials, and attendee communications.
  • Assist with hotel sourcing, room blocks, and travel coordination for firm events.
  • Support the execution of firm sponsorships, including registrations, materials preparation, shipping, and on-site coordination when applicable.
  • Help ensure events and sponsorships are delivered seamlessly and aligned with firm standards.

Marketing Communication

  • Assist with drafting, editing, and formatting marketing and communications content, including website copy, attorney bios, practice descriptions, announcements, and other firm materials.
  • Support the maintenance and ongoing updating of attorney biographies, practice group descriptions, and other profile content, ensuring accuracy and consistency with firm standards.
  • Assist with website content updates, including uploading, formatting, and maintaining content within the firm's content management system.
  • Review content for grammar, spelling, style, brand consistency, and adherence to firm communication standards before publication or distribution.
  • Support the production and distribution of newsletters, client alerts, invitations, and other email communications.
  • Assist in maintaining marketing content libraries, templates, and collateral repositories to ensure materials remain organized and current.

 

Promotional Items & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate sourcing, ordering, and delivery of promotional items in support of events, sponsorships, and firm initiatives.
  • Manage inventory of branded materials, including tracking usage and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
  • Support custom promotional item orders, working with vendors to ensure quality, branding consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and assist in identifying cost-effective solutions.

Team Collaboration & Operational Support

  • Work closely with Marketing & Business Development team members to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and project support to ensure efficient execution of marketing programs and events.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant coursework or internships in marketing, communications, or business a plus.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM or marketing tools a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
