As a member of our Enterprise Applications team, this position will be responsible for the development, management and expansion of the various data sharing platforms used within the firm, including but not limited to SharePoint Intranet and Extranets.
 
This position will develop functional knowledge to design and support business-changing enterprise solutions with SharePoint and other leading-edge technologies.
This position will be responsible for supporting the firm’s SharePoint environment, operations and solutions. This position will synthesize business requirements into system functionality within the SharePoint framework. This role will have ownership over daily operations and support, and will work with firm attorneys, legal and administrative staff to ensure that SharePoint is leveraged effectively to meet the needs of the firm.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
  • Provide the day to day administration, support, maintenance and monitoring of the Microsoft SharePoint infrastructure.
  • Consult with business partners on gathering business requirements, process analysis and design.
  • Serve as technical and functional liaison for SharePoint portal solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in maintaining and supporting the SharePoint enterprise environment.
  • Facilitate SharePoint adoption by end users.
  • Contribute to the development of Governance Plan.
  • Create SharePoint applications and workflows.
  • Create the appropriate information architecture, taxonomy, and solutions for SharePoint.
  • Recommend and design data integration solutions between systems.
  • Maintain system stability, performance monitoring, security, and storage capacity requirements.
  • Assists with and provide support for other applications.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
The ideal candidate will have proven business analyst skills and experience developing web applications using Microsoft SharePoint and compatible technologies including:
 
  • In depth knowledge of SharePoint 2007-2013, Central Admin, and PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation
  • Experience with SharePoint migrations
  • Experience creating documentation for development projects
  • Solid understanding of information architecture, taxonomy, content types and their respective applicability to sites, site collections, managed metadata, keywords, other enterprise content management features and SharePoint solutions
  • Strong understanding of OOTB features
  • SQL Server
  • Web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT)
  • Windows Server administration (IIS, AD, Application Pools)
